The Industrial Relations Society of Tasmania (IRST) is offering two grants to early career industrial relations practitioners who are interested in attending the biennial Australian Labour and Employment Relations Association (ALERA) National Conference.

ALERA is an independent, nonpartisan association which encourages research, discussion and debate on a wide range of issues affecting employment relations.
ALERA is governed by an Executive Committee of representatives from its affiliated State and Territory societies, including IRST.
Purpose
The purpose of the grants is to support people who have an interest in industrial relations and would like to attend the ALERA conference to hear and learn from an exciting program of international and national experts.
Value
The grant will provide $495 (50% of registration fees) towards the cost of conference registration. There are two grants available.
